Jose Vaz Jacinto

He was born in Malanje, Angola, on October 18, 1960. In June 1975, he came to Portugal and in October of that year he went to S. Paulo, Brazil, where he lived until May 1978.
Returning to Portugal, he attended the 2nd Year of Mechanical Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, a course that interrupted to fulfill the Military Service, reaching the rank of Lieutenant.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Management and a degree in Applied Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
He belonged to the staff of the Union of Portuguese Banks, where he played the role of Account Manager and, currently, is Professor of Mathematics of Secondary Education.
