Almost anticipating the posthumous title The Bantu through the Eyes of Mafrano – Quasi-Memoirs, the author left us with HISTORICAL MEMORIES, as he himself described them — expressed through Studies on Bantu Society, Social Issues, Light Chronicles, Pencil Notes and Lived Episodes, along with reflections on topics such as birth control, extreme poverty, abortion, religious life, and social inclusion.
“And never forget this maxim by the author of Swords and Roses: there is a force a thousand times more fearsome than a firing cannon — it is a reasoning mind!”
He wrote these words in the newspaper O Angolense, on August 21, 1976.
