Salomão Arão Chipeco

Throughout his professional career, he taught in Lubango, working as a History teacher at Colégio Esperança; as a teacher of Psychology, Sociology, and Integrative Attitude Development at the Lubango Intermediate Institute of Economics; and as a lecturer in African History and Theory of History at ISCED – Huíla.

His research has focused on the contemporary history of Angola, international relations, and post-independence political processes. His academic work has examined anti-colonial nationalism in Angola; the end of the Cold War in the Angolan press, with particular emphasis on Jornal de Angola between 1988 and 1991; and political and diplomatic relations between Portugal and Angola from 1976 to 1985.
