Almost anticipating the posthumous title of “The Bantu in Mafrano’s Vision — Almost Memoirs”, the author left us “HISTORICAL MEMOIRS”, as he himself wrote, expressed through Studies on Bantu Society, Social Themes, Light Chronicles, Pencil Notes and Lived Episodes, as well as reflections on subjects such as birth control, the hardship of the poorest, abortion, religious life and social inclusion.

“And never forget this maxim by the author of Swords and Roses: there is a force a thousand times more fearsome than the cannon that fires: — it is a brain that reasons!”, he wrote in the newspaper O Angolense, on 21 August 1976.
