Filomena Barata was born in Luanda, Angola, on May 18, 1957.
Graduated in History from the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon and completed the Master of Archaeology at the Faculty of Letters of Porto.
Superior Technique of the National Archaeological Museum of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, where he has already held a wide range of functions.
She is the author of a considerable work in the field of Cultural Heritage.
